When she was 18 years old, Katie Koestner was sexually assaulted by a fellow college student. As the first survivor of date rape to take her story and her cause across the country, Katie broke a long national silence. She is the subject of an HBO Movie and has appeared on the cover of TIME Magazine, Larry King Live, Oprah, MTV, CNN, NBC News, Good Morning America and hundreds of other media outlets.

Katie's story got the nation talking about the under-reported crime of violence against women. Katie has inspired over one million students with her message of strength through adversity and mission to promote respectful relationships. In the course of her travels, she met other like-minded and like-hearted individuals who joined together under the banner of Campus Outreach Services.
